While I feel like I’m the definition of an awkward person, Desiree made me feel so comfortable and confident during this shoot. She gave amazing direction and helped me feel good about everything. Most photographers - I feel - don’t love to photograph larger bodies but Desiree put me at ease and MY GOD. These are some of my favorite photos of myself truly. 10/10 couldn’t recommend more.

Desiree did an amazing job with our engagement photos! She'd scoped out the location ahead of time and was very prepared, timely, and on it. I really appreciated how organized she was while making it a fun and sweetly connective experience at the same time. She guided us through lots of fun and interesting poses, locations, and had some delightful props and costume additions for us to play with. AND not surprising, the photos came out absolutely beautiful!!! My fiance and I loved them so much that we asked her to do our wedding photography, too. We're so grateful to have these photographic moments Desiree captured so perfectly, and look forward to looking back at them for years to come.

By good fortune I ran across Fernweh Visions. My first thought was what a beautiful and unique idea, but wasn’t sure it was something I could pull off. Despite hesitation, I reached out and couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Desiree provided lots of great information during the initial video call and was happy to answer all of my questions. She put all of my insecurities at ease.
The shoot was scheduled for a very rainy day, and Desiree was flexible and let me make the call about whether to move forward or reschedule. Mother nature, had a change of heart just as we were about to call it off.
The shoot was so fun and Desiree provided guidance, helped with wardrobe adjustments and empowered me to feel confident in the poses.

My whole experience with Fernweh Visions was unforgettable and deeply moving. Desiree is as talented as she is kind. She has the most welcoming, supportive energy from the moment you meet her and it never fades.
Wielding a sword in one hand and a camera in the other, she effortlessly guided me through countless poses, locations, and outfit changes without skipping a beat. I would be cracking up with her one minute while she snuck photos and speechless the next once she showed them. Her excitement is tangible and contagious, and her eye for capturing a candid moment as she creates it is beyond impressive.
Down-to-earth, relatable, gentle… Desiree helps you to see yourself through someone else’s eyes. She leaves space for you to show up in a way you’d only dreamed of and yet appreciates you as you are. In her presence, for a moment, I felt fearless and honest and beautiful. Now when I look back through the many incredible photos she shared, I see the powerful girl she helped me to find. I am endlessly grateful for the experience and would do it over and over again.
